“The department shall seek to hire an attorney for the sole purpose to review the content and structure of the education laws to include, but not be limited to, the following:”
Section 1
“The sum of $100,000 for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026, is hereby appropriated to the department of education to review the content and structure of the education laws as set forth in Title XV, RSA 186 through 200-N, for the purpose of identifying laws which are duplicative or contradictory and areas which can be consolidated.”
Section 2
“The attorney shall report the findings and any recommendations for proposed legislation to the commissioner of the department of education.”
Section 1
“The commissioner or designee, in consultation with the attorney general, shall have exclusive supervisory authority over the attorney.”
