“This act shall be known and may be cited as the Workplace Extreme Temperatures Protection Standards Act.”
Section 1
“Each employer, with the assistance of the commissioner, shall develop and implement a written plan to provide necessary protections for workers at risk of heat or cold stress due to workplace apparent temperatures 80 degrees Fahrenheit and above or 15 degrees Fahrenheit and below.”

“This plan shall include the provision of liquids and paid rest breaks in temperature-protected areas appropriate to the temperature.”
