“Please support this bill as Ivermectin is a safe and excellent drug. We used it when we got Covid and it wiped it out in 2 days! It should be fine for over the counter use. Brad”
“Safer than many OTC drugs currently marketed, the fact that ivermectin is not available is inexplicable. It isn't restricted for animal use; why should it be for human use?…”
“I believe ivermectin should be sold over the counter. It is available in many countries. Now a couple of states have approved it. Also. It has been administered safely to billions of people since it became available.”
“Seriously? Invermectin? Even the current FDA only recommends usage for parasites and certain skin conditions. It is NOT recommended for COVID prevention or treatment.”
“Are you kidding me? We have a budget crisis, underfunded public education, underfunded environmental protections, underfunded infrastructure and a housing crisis and you want to bypass doctors for people to dose themselves with NO POSITIVE EFFECT with horse dewormer?…”
“While the intention to improve access to care is commendable, the proposed amendment undermines principles of evidence-based medicine.…”
